The Past Never Dies
Summary: This was the first case ever written for New York Noir on January 11, 2024; it was written for an older version of the directories. This experimental story, originally a typesetting demonstration for High & Low, marks the first writing attempt of a novice author. He does not guarantee the quality of the writing, or the story, which was crafted with the assistance of an AI. Expect no consistency in style and narrative. Not recommended for those prone to boredom, frustration, or with high literary standards. Reader perseverance is advised.

We played this, the very first case ever written for New York Noir, live on YouTube and it was a very special experience. This is a short case, without much by way of mechanics, but we still had a great time with it.
