• Start with the demo case (The Past is a Crooked Game) which is a gentle introduction to New York Noir

• On that page, if you plan to read the case book on a screen, download "ThePastIsACrookedGame_soloForScreen_letter.pdf" but if you plan to print it, download "ThePastIsACrookedGame_twocol_letter.pdf" (53 pages)
• The fastest way to get started playing a case is to use the online directories and map; those are available at: https://nynoir.org/map/
